Save dashboard changes

Dashboards display predefined, user-defined custom dashboards, and runbooks.

About this task

The Save as option allows you to do the following:
  • Save charts as either a Custom Dashboard or a Runbook.
  • Save an existing Default or Custom Dashboard as a Runbook.
  • Save a runbook as a Custom Dashboard.
NOTE: You cannot save a dashboard containing multiple tabs or item lists.

To save dashboard changes:

Steps

  1. To view the list of dashboards, click Performance > Dashboards.
  2. Open the dashboard chart that you want to change.
  3. Update the chart, depending on the options available.
    For more information, see Customize the tabbed Charts view and Customize a chart.
  4. Click Save icon > Save as Custom Dashboard.
  5. Type a Dashboard Title.
  6. Click Save.
